Our journey began in 2009 as Xtea Co., sourcing exceptional premium artisan trade teas from around the world. In 2020, we journeyed to the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia as Queens Coast Trading Company, discovering our newfound coastal identity.
Now, in 2025, we emerge as Rising Tide Tea in Saint John, New Brunswick — drawn by Canada’s oldest city’s rich tea heritage as the birthplace of Red Rose Tea, and inspired by its remarkable, vibrant resurgence.

To be a rising tide that lifts all boats — connecting people and communities through authentic premium trade tea while promoting local artisans, vendors, and partners across Saint John and the Maritime region's vibrant resurgence.
Vision
To become the most community-engaged tea company — rooted in the heritage of Canada's oldest city, where we connect with local artisans, celebrate authentic partnerships, and contribute to the cultural and economic fabric of Saint John and the greater Maritime region.
